During a couple of months ago, several changes took place in the rubber industry, especially the price after it had persistently risen and hit the record high. As the matter of fact, natural rubber price will be lower in rainy season because its yields are abundant in this period of time. The rubber price is also lower than that of dry season. The price will be lower compared to that of dry season when a rubber tree shed its leaves as tapping cannot be carried out that much or not at all. This year, the rubber price trend is forecasted to rise perpetually. After several rubber plantation areas have been hit with storm, flood rubber scarcity is looming. This is contradictory with growing auto industries no matter in China and Japan. When rubber stockpiles are not sufficient, a huge demand sparks rubber hoarding. Something is unpredictable when tapping close season will be starting due to sheding its leaves.
